Deaf Connections is very proud that one of our ALN Learners, David Aitchison, was awarded Student of the Year 2012 by the James Watt College. David, who has spent three years at the college studying for an National Certificate in Computer Games Development has been using the Adult Literacy and Numeracy service here for additional support.

He was awarded the prize at the College's North Ayrshire Campus Graduation Ceremony on the 29th November 2012. The College said, "The 20 year old, who is deaf, was recognised for his oustanding work ethic and amazing accomplishments in the face of adversity."
