Healthy Bake and
Learn – 1st February 2013
The final day of
the Bake and Learn course! It has been a
wonderful course and we have learned loads.
Our teacher, Claire was not going to let us off lightly today. We worked very hard and produced 4 different
things!
First of all a rustic Irish Soda Bread
Then an oatie honey scone/cake followed
by healthier scones using vegetable oil instead of butter
Lastly, in preparation for Shrove Tuesday, we made pancakes.
Mmmmm......... delicious!!
We all thoroughly enjoyed the course. We had a
lot of fun and learned about healthy eating and how we can adjust our diet and
recipes to be more healthy, but sill have some of the things we enjoy!
