Learning all about energy!
ALN Glasgow Science Centre Visit 31 January 2013
We were all happy
to arrive and escape the elements on a very wet and windy day!
We had a very
interesting morning at the Science Centre, learning about types of renewable
& non-renewable energy and thinking about how much energy we use in our own
homes. We discussed ways that we could
save energy and become more “Green”.
After a lovely
lunch, we went to see some of the exhibits including the Tower of Power! We saw how much
manual power was needed to power every day appliances. It was good fun with
surprising results!

We saw some more exhibits most of which were interactive and related to energy such as a mini tornado and a plasma ball.
